How it works
At Yo-Go, we’re piloting electric buggies as an alternative way to get around town which is clean, convenient and fun! We're starting our journey in Fulham, south west London.
Once you’ve downloaded the app and registered, you can pick up a buggy from one of our hubs via your phone, drive it around, and return it back to the same location.
The buggies are fully insured, and we take care of all the maintenance and the recharging. You just collect, drive, return. And enjoy!
You pay a flat rate per minute that you’re driving, and a lower flat rate per minute that you leave the buggy parked. Your charges stop as soon as you return it to .
Who can drive?
If you're between between the ages of 25 and 70, and have held a UK or EU driving licence for over two years, you can drive a buggy.
Get registered
If you’re in the Fulham area and would like to register, just download the Yo-Go city app onto your phone, register your billing info, and submit a DVLA licence check code (go to www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence, enter your driving license number, your National Insurance number and your postcode, and go to the ‘Share your information’ tab to get a referral code).
We will confirm your account set-up within 24 hours via email, and you'll be good to go. The app has instructions on how to get started.
Hire a buggy
Just scan the QR code on a vehicle, or select it via the App and click Hire Now and then Unlock. The power button will flash red, just press it to start the buggy. Check the Drive/Neutral/Reverse switch on the right of the steering column. Check the parking brake (small foot-brake on the left) is off. Remember your seatbelts, and away you go.
When you return it, just click the (now green) power button to turn the buggy off. If you're back at its home location, the session should end automatically, but always check on your app and click End Session if any delays. The House icon on the app shows you the home location for your buggy (where you picked it up). You need to be within 30m.
If you're parking away from its home location, your session is still active. Switch the buggy off when you park it, and click Unlock Vehicle when you return to the buggy. Your hire session finishes when you return it back to its home.
